About the ASBSH
The Mission of the Society is to enhance the discipline of bulk solids handling through research, education and sound engineering practice.
The Mission of the Society is to be achieved through the following strategies:
- To promote cooperation between universities, research establishments, consultants, equipment manufacturers & suppliers and industrial users.
- To encourage research and development, technology transfer and training
- To promote education at the undergraduate level and continuing education at the postgraduate level, and
- To hold national and international conferences at regular intervals
The purpose of the Society is:
- to strengthen and enhance the practice of bulk solids handling capabilities of members and encourage excellence in both bulk solids handling and its management.
- to provide a national focus and forum for the practice of the bulk solids handling needs of members.
- to foster and support education and training in all aspects of the practice of bulk solids handling.
About 15th ICBMH
The 15th International Conference on Bulk Materials Storage, Handling and Transportation follows in the tradition of the previous conferences in the ICBMH series, dating back to 1983. Advancements continue in the development, research and implementation of the many aspects of bulk materials storage, handling and transportation. This conference will provide an excellent forum for practitioners, researchers and designers to come together to review and exchange ideas. The 15th ICBMH conference will be held at Rydges Esplanade Hotel Freemantle, located in Western Australia in July, 2026.
